Role Overview
As a Digital Transformation Architect, you will play a crucial role in shaping the technical architecture solution for Staffordshire Police Force. Reporting to the Head of Strategy and Transformation, you will work closely with the Strategy team to ensure that the Digital, Data and Technology Department understands current and future requirements for The Force.
About the Job
The successful candidate will be responsible for governing and maintaining the overall technical architecture solution for the force. This includes ensuring that all work undertaken adheres to agreed standards, design principles, and architecture methodology. As part of this role, you will also drive innovative ideas across the team, encouraging an atmosphere of creative thinking and data-driven solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Effective leadership and management of the Architecture team
- Act as the technical design authority for new technology solutions presented by the development or architecture sub-teams
- Ensure a consistent approach to adopting new technologies, in regard to infrastructure, Application and Service selection approach
- Drive new ideas forward as part of an emergent technology roadmap
- Monitor and manage service levels and performance standards for the team
About You
To succeed in this role, you will need to have experience in strategising projects alongside possessing strong management capabilities. A strong focus on ICT technologies, GAP Analysis, understanding of Cyber Security protocols, and operational service delivery are essential. Additionally, you will be able to think strategically and have excellent leadership and communication skills.
