SEN Teaching Assistant – Irlam (M44)

Teaching Personnel are an established education agency seeking a dedicated Teaching Assistant to work across a SEN secondary school in the Irlam area. As a Teaching Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting students with PMLD in their academic, social, and personal development.
Salary: £83.85+ per day (dependent on experience)
Responsibilities:
* Providing one-to-one or small group support to pupils with PMLD
* Assisting with classroom activities and promoting an inclusive learning environment
* Supporting the teacher in implementing Educational Health Care Plans (EHCPs)
* Encouraging social interaction and building positive relationships with students
* Assisting with personal care and medical requirements as necessary
Requirements:
* Previous experience as a Teaching Assistant or in a care-related role is preferred
* Patience, empathy, and a positive attitude towards supporting diverse learning needs
* Strong communication and teamwork skills
* A genuine passion for working with children and helping them reach their full potential

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
