Job Description
We are working with an MSP IT support company based in the Shoreham area who are looking for a forward thinking, experienced Senior Desktop Technician to join their busy technical team.
As a Senior Desktop Technician you will be responsible for providing 2nd/3rdLine Support to clients, ensuring all tickets are dealt with on time.
You will have previous experience working in a 2nd Line Support role looking to take the next step in their career. Experience working within an MSP company would be an advantage but not essential.
You will have strong experience using
1. Microsoft Windows Server, various editions
2. Active Directory management,
3. Microsoft Exchange Server,
4. Most popular anti-virus products,
5. A good understanding of firewalls, routers, switches etc.
6. Backup software / disaster recovery solutions
As a Senior Desktop Technician:
7. you will possess excellent customer service skills, both written and verbal.
8. You will be organised and work well within a team but will also be able to manage your own work load.
9. You will have a friendly approach and may be required to offer support to other members of the team.
10. You will work well in a fast paced environment and you will work well under pressure.
11. You will need to have a Full, UK Driving Licence as you will be required to attend on site visits
