The Role:
As the Financial Controller, you will oversee the financial management across several entities and sites, ensuring robust accounting practices are maintained. You will play a pivotal role in onboarding new acquisitions, integrating them seamlessly into the financial systems. Your responsibilities will include:
1. Team Management: Leading and developing a high-performing finance team, fostering a culture of excellence and collaboration.
2. Accounts Oversight: Ensuring accuracy and compliance in all financial reporting across multiple sites.
3. Process Improvement: Setting out and standardising financial processes to enhance efficiency and performance.
4. Board Engagement: Collaborating with other board members, providing insights and assertive financial guidance in a fast-paced environment.
Ideal Candidate:
We are seeking a candidate who thrives in an operational setting and possesses the following qualifications:
5. Proven experience as a Financial Controller or in a similar role within an operational industry (manufacturing, logistics, waste).
6. Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage and motivate a team.
