We are seeking a Forklift truck driver / warehouse operative for our client located in Burnley, Lancashire. You must hold an in-date FLT Counterbalance license to be considered for this role .

This is a full-time role, with duties split between general warehouse duties and operating an FLT.
Working hours: Mon-Thurs - 07:30 to 16:30 / Fri – 07:30 to 12:30
Rate of pay: £12.06 ph
General responsibilities:

- Achievement of daily delivery target of materials in an accurate and timely manner
Job role:
- Carrying out operational tasks as requested in order to achieve departmental and site objectives
- Reacting to change due to operational and client requirements and carrying out duties in a professional and timely fashion
- Ensuring the correct handling of all client products is carried out at all stages within the Warehouse
- Completing all relevant documentation as required in order to provide a quality service to our client and, therefore, contributing to greater operational efficiency
- Be committed to continuous development in line with operational needs, constantly striving for increased efficiency, productivity and growth
Skills / Experience required:
- FLT Counterbalance license (in date)
- Warehouse experience
- Ability to follow work procedures and safety rules
- Ability to read, understand and follow directions/instructions
- Ability to count accurately and to perform simple math calculations
- Have appropriate hand, eye and foot co-ordination to effectively use mechanical handling equipment
- Ability to move product which may require bending, stretching, stooping, stepping, reaching and/or lifting, in line with Health & Safety regulations
