Areas of Responsibility as Commercial Account Handler:
1. Ensuring all client records reflect the current risk on cover at all-times, including accuracy of sums insured, extensions and exclusions
2. Liaising and negotiating with Insurers and inviting renewal of clients' policies
3. Checking new policy documentation for accuracy and forwarding to clients or liaising with Insurers
4. Processing mid-term adjustments and quarterly declarations
5. Providing support for Account Executives when required, when obtaining new business quotations and arranging cover
6. Dealing promptly with clients' enquiries in a friendly, professional and timely manner
7. Providing support to team members to ensure client needs are met, particularly during peak periods or in times of absence
8. Developing and maintaining strong client and Insurer relationships
To be successful as a Commercial Account Handler you will demonstrate:
9. Commercial Insurance technical experience
10. A desire to develop strong Client and Insurer relationships
11. Good negotiation skills
12. The ability to support colleagues in a close team environment
13. Excellent organisational skills
