1. Develop and implement cost-effective, audience-specific communications plans that align with the Council's objectives.
2. Commission creative communications products from both internal and external providers.
3. Set, monitor, and evaluate SMART objectives for communications activities, ensuring success through measurable outcomes.
4. Contribute to a coordinated schedule of communications to promote Council initiatives.
5. Build and maintain a network of influential contacts to support the Council's communications goals.
6. Offer expert advice to colleagues and partners on their communications strategies.
