Role
* First point of contact for customer enquiries
* Setting up new customer accounts and credit checking
* Responsible for receiving orders and collections of equipment.
* Calculating and supply of quotes
* Negotiating with customers on hire rates and non-standard product prices
* Planning transport for deliveries and collections
* Dealing with off hires and collection notes
* To proactively work jointly with all departments
* Assisting with yard procedures
* Dealing with damages, calculating costs, liaising with customers regarding damages and ensuring payment is received
* Full training on product range will be given
Requirements
* Minimum 1 year experience working within the construction/ material supplies or hire industry
* Strong customer service skills and experience
* Excellent organisational skills
* Ideally you need to have your own transport for travel to the depot location
