Swift Placements are working with a family-run company based in Keighley, dedicated to providing high-quality dairy products to the local community. Our client is looking for a Full Time Customer Service Operator to join their team.
Full Time position
Location: Keighley
Based on 40 hours per week over a 2-day 4/5 day working pattern
Please note: You will be expected to work every other Saturday
Working hours: 7:00am- 3:30pm
Starting rate: £12.50 per hour rising to £13.50 after completing probation
£500 bonus once probationary period is completed
Key Responsibilities:
Customer Interaction:
* Handle incoming customer inquiries via phone, email, and social media platforms.
* Assist customers with product selection, order placement, and delivery scheduling.
Order Management:
* Process customer orders accurately using internal systems.
* Liaise with the delivery team to ensure timely and efficient service.
* Inputting customer orders onto the system.
* Data processing and elements of inhouse auditing.
Issue Resolution:
* Address and resolve customer complaints or delivery issues promptly and professionally.
* Escalate unresolved issues to the appropriate department when necessary.
Administrative Tasks:
* Maintain up-to-date records of customer interactions and transactions.
* Prepare daily and weekly reports as required by management.
Essential Requirements:
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
* Proficiency in using computer systems, including Microsoft Office Suite and CRM software.
* Strong problem-solving abilities and a customer-first mindset.
* Ability to multitask and manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment.
* Previous experience in a customer service or call centre role.
