Our client is a professional engineering institution for scientists and engineers working across the diverse field of acoustics. They are seeking an experienced part-time administrator for its office in Central Milton Keynes.
\n
As an experienced Office Administrator, you will manage all the administration related to the maintenance of the office facilities and administrative support for some of their operational functions.
\n
As the team is small, it is the aim over time for the post holder to learn the other teams’ roles so they can provide basic cover during absences.
\n
We are seeking a candidate who has the following attributes:
\n
\n
* Experienced with a successful track record of administration
\n
* Tact and the ability to liaise with key stakeholders and volunteers
\n
* Energy and enthusiasm and a ‘can do’ attitude
\n
* Computer literate using Word and Excel with the ability to manage website content and a willingness to learn and use new software as AI and software develops.
\n
* Good management skills including being able to deal accurately with details.
\n
* Personal drive, determination and resilience
\n
* Book keeping experience is desirable.
\n
* Experienced in using MS Nav Accounts System is desirable
\n

Vacancy: Office Administrator

Hours: Part time, 30 hours per week (there is some flexibility in working hours, the office is open 9-5 Monday to Friday)
\n
Salary: £20,000 -£22,000 depending on experience
\n
Benefits: Leave 20 days /year plus public holidays
\n
Pension Scheme (with AEGON) where the Institute pays 6%
\n
