A compelling opportunity to take a key leadership role in delivering the exciting next stage in the evolution of two historically significant estates whose interests span both rural and urban settings. This role, which will be based at the Enville Estate, will see the successful candidate work closely with the family, trustees, and broader estate communities to shape and implement new and exciting initiatives whilst delivering genuine economic, social and environmental value.
THE POSITION
* Working with the family in the delivery of the estates’ strategic objectives and ensuring the necessary rigour in day-to-day financial and operational management and reporting.
* Identifying and collaborating where necessary with external professionals to structure and deliver wide-ranging land and property based opportunities whilst developing new and innovative commercial opportunities across different business lines.
* Developing strong relationships with tenants, business partners and local authorities in order to reinforce the productive and collaborative environment within which the estates operate.
THE CANDIDATE
* An ambitious, entrepreneurial and inquisitive property and land management professional with a track record of optimising existing operations and developing new commercial opportunities.
* Strong financial and budgetary experience with the ability to think strategically. Should possess the tenacity and flexibility to see demanding and long-term projects through to fruition.
* A charismatic and inspirational leader who communicates effectively and builds strong relationships whilst being sensitive to the heritage and ethos of a multi-generational family business.
