Service Desk Manager (Windows Azure) Epsom / WFH to £75k
Are you an experienced Service Desk Engineer with management / leadership skills?
You could be progressing your career as a Service Desk Manager at an independent Building Society that specialise in savings and mortgages, in a friendly and supportive environment.
As a Service Desk Manager, you will head up and lead a team of eight first to third line support engineers and the Lead Service Desk Engineer, who are responsible for supporting all internal IT services, system processes, and applications (Windows based).
You will be responsible for leading the team to enable them to support the company services and provide excellent customer service to the highest standard. Some of your other key duties will include prioritising the team workload to ensure time sensitive issues are dealt with efficiently, managing the team's engagement with third party vendors and support desks, training and coaching the Service Desk Team Lead, and maintaining and developing tools and technologies used by the team. You'll remain hands-on 50% of the time as an escalation point for the team and managing projects.

Location:
You'll join colleagues in the Epsom office, with flexibility to work from home one day a week, there is public transport nearby and parking nearby.
Requirements:
1. You have experience of leading a Service Desk and technical support teams in Windows environments
2. You have a strong knowledge of Windows, Office 365 and Azure
3. You have strong workload prioritisation skills
4. You have a solid grasp of cyber security principles or have worked in a heavily regulated environment
5. You have strong leadership and people management skills
6. You have excellent communication, collaboration and stakeholder management skills
