Job Description
We are seeking a proactive and enthusiastic General Manager to join our client’s team in Trowbridge. In this role, you will report directly to the Managing Director and take responsibility for overseeing the office, warehouse, and logistics operations and ensuring the smooth running of day-to-day activities.
Key Responsibilities:
* Manage daily office operations to maintain an efficient workflow.
* Oversee warehouse, maintain appropriate inventory levels and ensure systems are accurately updated.
* Act as the primary point of contact for all inquiries and concerns.
* Develop and implement office policies and procedures to optimise efficiency.
* Review and manage office budgets, providing regular updates to senior management.
* Coordinate delivery logistics, including order processing, dispatch, and delivery.
* Actively generate new contacts and bring in new business.
Requirements:
* Proven experience in a similar office management role.
* Familiarity with the heating & renewables industry.
* Experience in warehouse and logistics operations.
* Strong organisational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritise effectively.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for team and customer interactions.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office and internal systems.
* Detail-oriented with a problem-solving mindset.
* Experience managing teams is highly desirable.

* Salary: £28,000 – £36,000 per annum (dependent on experience)
