Job summary
Are you an experienced CAMHS Consultant Psychiatrist looking for either afull time or part time opportunitywhere you will be part of a supportive and experienced team providing Tier 4 inpatient services to young people with eating disorders?
Join Brighton and Hove Clinic, which is aa specialist Inpatient Eating Disorder service for children and young people aged 12 up to 18 years, and you will be providing evidence-based and focused treatment programmes designed for the individual needs of each young person.
Main duties of the job
1. Manage a case load as RC of the ward.
2. Participate in the assessment and management of children and young people referred to the Service.
3. Assess physical health and document finding within Carenotes and weekly ICR meetings.
4. Ensure completion of professional reports as per timeline such as ICRs/CPA/Tribunals.

Responsibilities :
5. Manage a case load as RC of the ward.
6. Participate in the assessment and management of children and young people referred to the Service.
7. Assess physical health and document finding within Carenotes and weekly ICR meetings.
8. Ensure completion of professional reports as per timeline such as ICRs/CPA/Tribunals.
9. Act as Responsible Clinician for patients detained under the Mental Health Act.
10. Attend CETRs when needed.
11. Provide leadership, supervision, reflection, and risk management to the key workers on the team.
12. Participation in the CAMHS Consultant on-call rota.
13. Participate in Continuing Professional Development (CPD) as approved by the Royal College of Psychiatrists
14. Uphold the principles of Clinical Governance and adhere to the organisations clinical governance requirements.
15. Take part in an Annual Appraisal Programme, with the development of Personal Development Plans, focused on Continuing Professional Development.
16. Adhere to all the organisations policies and procedures.
