Key Responsibilities:

Strategic Leadership: Develop and implement a comprehensive quality and governance strategy that aligns with organizational goals, ensuring the highest standards of care, patient safety, and compliance. Lead the organization’s approach to quality improvement, risk management, and clinical governance.

Regulatory Compliance & Accreditation: Ensure compliance with all relevant regulatory bodies (e.g., Care Quality Commission - CQC, NHS regulatory standards, and other industry guidelines). Lead the organization through inspections, audits, and quality assurance processes to achieve and maintain excellent ratings.

Quality Assurance & Continuous Improvement: Oversee the development and implementation of quality assurance frameworks, including audits, inspections, and monitoring processes. Lead the identification of areas for improvement and implement evidence-based quality improvement initiatives to enhance care outcomes.

Governance Framework: Lead the development, review, and implementation of governance policies and frameworks. Ensure that governance structures are robust, transparent, and aligned with legal, ethical, and organizational standards.

Risk Management: Develop and manage systems for the identification, assessment, and mitigation of risks across the organization. Oversee the investigation and management of serious incidents, near misses, and complaints, ensuring appropriate action is taken and lessons are learned.

Leadership & Staff Engagement: Provide leadership and direction to governance and quality teams across the organization. Foster a culture of continuous improvement, empowering teams to take ownership of quality initiatives and delivering safe, high-quality care. Lead and mentor staff to promote a culture of accountability and excellence.

Clinical Standards & Best Practices: Work with clinical teams to ensure that care delivery is evidence-based and aligned with best practices. Promote the use of clinical guidelines, protocols, and standards to ensure safe, effective, and person-centered care
