About Our Client:
Join our client, a leading organisation in the aerospace industry, as an Asset Condition Inspector. With a passion for working in an airport environment and a strong background in inspecting passenger boarding bridges and associated equipment, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the safety and smooth operations of our client's equipment at various airports in the UK, Ireland, and overseas.
Responsibilities:
Conduct thorough mechanical, electrical, and functional checks on passenger boarding bridges and related equipment.
Prepare detailed reports highlighting any adjustments, replacements, or maintenance required.
Collaborate with engineers to implement modifications to improve equipment performance.
Record all inspection findings accurately and maintain meticulous documentation.
Essential (Knowledge, skills, qualifications, experience):
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
Positive and proactive attitude with the ability to work well as part of a team.
Strong understanding of mechanical and electrical drawings.
Proficient in using hand and power tools.
Ability to follow instructions and work with precision.
Desirable (Knowledge, skills, qualifications, experience):
Hold a Full UK Driving Licence.
Right to work in the UK is essential.
Minimum of 5 years' traceable work/education history to obtain airside security passes.
Prior experience in inspecting mechanical equipment or industrial machines/vehicles.

This is a permanent, full-time position with night shift hours from Sunday to Thursday (20:30 to 04:30). Flexibility is required, as occasional overtime and extra nights may be necessary.
