Baxter Compounding in Oxford is looking for a Warehouse Operator. The ideal candidate will be responsible for raw materials on site and working proactively as part of a cross-functional Warehouse team.
This is a full-time, permanent position. Working hours are Mon - Fri 12 - 8 pm.
Duties and Responsibilities in the Warehouse Area :
1. To receive and book in raw materials
2. Locate raw materials in Warehouse as required
3. Process and load Baxter goods and Raw Materials for dispatch
4. To support in day to day running of the Warehouse duties
5. Being able to work as part of cross functional team and learn various jobs in Warehouse areas to support the business
6. Being able to work on their own initiative as and when required
7. Comply with EHS/GMP/GDP company & corporate policies and external regulatory requirement
8. Provide cover for colleagues
9. To notify Quality assurance, Team Leaders and Supervisors of any deviations from the process
10. Placing orders where needed for Raw Material and items required for Production
11. Replenish Stock locations when needed
Duties and Responsibilities in the packing area:
12. Maintain equipment in a validated state
13. Internal packaging operation support including packaging and labelling of supplies
14. Document management
15. Data entry in applicable GMP inventory/distribution systems
16. Printing of supplies/materials/labels
17. Electronic/physical preparation of supplies for shipping
18. Escalate issues as needed
19. Tracking of requests and orders in support of operations
20. Material stock monitoring, usage, and quantity tracking
21. Raising shipments and tracking through to delivery and/or receipts
22. Monitor timelines, task completions and other data for use in department metrics
23. Generate reports/documents from multiple systems
Skills and Experience
24. Strong problem-solving skills and task management skills
25. Excellent communication skills and attention to detail
26. Ability to take ownership of tasks and work with autonomy
27. Computer Skills – Familiar and comfortable using Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook
28. Experience in working in a regulated environment/GMP would be advantageous
