Essential Qualifications : CIPD Level 5 HR qualification or equivalent + driver.
Essential Experience: Must have experience in dealing with complex employee relations and providing professional and comprehensive frontline HR advice.

Hexagon Care Services are one of the largest privately owned providers of children’s services in the country, with children’s homes, schools and a small portfolio of adult services predominantly across the Northwest, Yorkshire, and The West Midlands.
Due to an internal move within the HR team, we have an opportunity for a Human Resources Advisor to join our team based at our Head Office in Preston. We are based on the docks with a spacious modern office, with free parking and a 24/7 gym across the road. We have flexible start (8am- 9:30am) and finish times (4pm-6pm) to support with a flexible work-life balance. We employ north of 750 staff, but have between 20-30 staff at any one time based at head office supporting our external sites.

The successful candidate will work closely with the HR Manager and Head of HR to build and maintain good relationships across the company, delivering positive outcomes in a professional manner.
This role will act as the main point of contact on employee relations issues. You will have experience as a HR Advisor, with a strong understanding of generalist HR function and a demonstratable ability to build and maintain positive working relations as well as knowledge of employment law and regulations.
Key Requirements of the Role:
1. Providing advice and guidance in line with employment law.
2. Strong employee relations background and experience of handling complex cases.
3. Excellent communication skills to be able to interact across all levels of the organisation.
4. Independently manage own workload and deadlines in line with KPIs.
5. Working under pressure and to tight deadlines
6. Maintaining confidentiality and sensitivity to all issues.
7. Develop and deliver training on relevant HR subjects.
8. Lead on projects relevant to HR.
9. Using Microsoft 365 to a high-level including SharePoint, Outlook, Teams etc.
