The Analysis, Insights & Performance department at Arden University plays a vital role in driving data-driven decisions. By providing valuable insights, monitoring performance, and promoting innovation, the team supports the university's mission to enhance student outcomes and drive continuous improvement.
About the Opportunity:
As Head of Data Product Development, you’ll lead a cross-functional team to deliver innovative solutions such as data lakehouses, visualization tools, and AI applications. By understanding the university’s needs and shaping a strategic roadmap, you’ll foster a data-driven culture, enhance decision-making, and optimize business insights. Collaborate with peers across data and analytics functions to propel Arden’s data strategy and build solutions for today’s challenges and the future.
About You:
We are looking for a degree-qualified professional in Data Science, Business Intelligence, Information Science, or Statistics, with significant hands-on experience in product-focused environments. Alternatively, if you have a proven track record of success in progressively complex roles, demonstrating deep and specialised expertise, you are also encouraged to apply.
You must have:
* A strong focus on product development, with the ability to lead innovative solutions.
* Experience in a retail or customer-centric environment, with a proven track record of delivering high-value products.
* Skilled at engaging and collaborating with senior stakeholders to drive development and align with strategic goals.
* Demonstrated ability to meet customer needs and exceed expectations through effective product management.
* A creative and forward-thinking approach to product innovation, with the leadership skills to guide stakeholders and ensure successful outcomes.
