You will be based at our Wiltshire or Dorset Hospice and work across Wiltshire and Dorset in the homes of the children we look after and be expected to:

2. Take a lead role within Safeguarding (Adults and Children) for Julia’s House and for the Mental Capacity Act (MCA) and Deprivation of Liberty Safeguards, providing advice and guidance to colleagues in line with local council policy under the direction of the identified Safeguarding Leads.
3. Hold a caseload of patients and families with significant social, practical, and emotional complex needs, delivering responsive and high-quality social work support to patients and families.
Julia’s House is an award-winning children’s hospice charity dedicated to bringing comfort and care to families across the two counties.
Each family we support is unique, and so is the care we provide. When a family finds out that their child has a very serious medical condition, which is life-limiting or life-threatening, their world falls apart. Julia’s House exists to help these children and their families.
