Your new companyYou will be working for a long-standing, supported living organisation who pride themselves on the valuable support they offer their residents. You will be supporting those with learning disabilities and complex needs within a residential service with the support of the registered manager and experienced staff teams.
Your new roleBased in Port Talbot, you will assist the manager of their residential service to provide excellent person-centred care to their residents. At this service, there are 4 residents with complex needs and learning disabilities, including wheelchair users, epilepsy and catheters. You will be responsible for good monitoring practices, care plans, rota support and general day-to-day activities, to name a few. It is a lively service, where the residents enjoy coffee mornings, theatre trips, bikeability and themed weekends, so there is always something to do.
