The role:Maintain and develop the functionality, understanding, and use ofpany IT Solutions in a manner that best promotes thepany's purpose.Responsibilities & Duties:
1. Provide second-line support to end users, logging, monitoring, escalating, resolving IT queries, and providing first-line support during busy periods, holidays, and sickness cover.
2. Be responsible for the administration, maintenance, support, and reliability of the IT environment, including Microsoft Azure, M365, cloud services, infrastructure, physical and virtual servers, and all non-Microsoft applications.
3. Ensure the infrastructure is secure and protected from viruses and malicious attacks.
4. Assist in the delivery of projects as required, ensuring budget, time, and project goal requirements are met.
5. Consult with external suppliers to obtain cost-effective and reliable solutions within budget.
6. Ensure the availability ofmunication links to external or hosted clients/services.
7. To be aware of both existing and emerging technological solutions and, where applicable, research, propose and justify their application within thepany.
8. Co-ordinate and, where appropriate, conduct training relating to the implementation of new IT-related solutions.
Technical:
9. Microsoft Office, 365
10. Microsoft Windows Desktop 10/11.
11. Microsoft Server 2016+
12. Active Directory, Microsoft Azure, VMWare administration.
