Job Description
Role- Head of Finance – Regional Leadership
Location- Henley In Arden
Salary- £70,000 + competitive bonus + benefits
Responsibilities:
* Managing the regional finance team, overseeing daily finance functions such as management accounting, accounts payable/receivable, payroll, and VAT reporting.
* Providing training, development, and ongoing support to finance team members.
* Delivering all internal financial reporting, including management accounts, KPIs, commentary, and variance analysis, along with preparing month-end reporting packs for the senior leadership team.
* Performing monthly balance sheet reconciliations, identifying potential risks and opportunities.
* Acting as a business partner to operational leaders, ensuring accurate allocation of revenue and costs to relevant contracts or activities, and investigating discrepancies.
* Leading budgeting and forecasting cycles, including managing reporting, version control, and analysis of movements and variances.
* Supporting commercial decisions through the costing and review of tenders.
* Preparing business cases for investments, such as fleet expansions.
* Ensuring accounting compliance and accurate financial reporting, adhering to relevant standards and preventing misstatements.
* Conducting ad-hoc analyses to optimise business performance and efficiencies across the organisation.
Preferred Qualifications:
* Accounting qualification (CIMA/ACCA)
Desirable Skills:
* Experience in transportation, logistics, or tourism industries.
* Familiarity with Power Query and Power BI for handling multiple data sets.
