An exciting opportunity has emerged for an experienced SEND Teacher to join a SEND school located in Hillingdon on a full- time permanent contract paying up to £50,000 per annum.
We are looking for an experienced and qualified teacher who can make a significant contribution teaching Key Stage 3 classes consisting of pupils aged between 11 and 13, but we are happy to accept applications from candidates with QTS status, whether their experience is in Primary or Secondary Teaching.
This is a permanent opportunity that will be a very rewarding role with opportunities to progress starting January 2025.
Key Responsibilities:
Create and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) while collaborating with support staff and specialists to ensure comprehensive support for students.
Foster an inclusive and supportive classroom environment that encourages personal growth, emotional well-being, and academic achievement.
Carefully track and assess student progress, maintaining accurate records and reports to inform future interventions and support strategies.
Utilize effective behaviour management techniques, de-escalation strategies, and positive reinforcement approaches to create a harmonious and productive learning atmosphere.
Qualifications and Experience:
Qualified Teacher Status and a proven track record of teaching secondary school students with special educational needs.
