The role is hands on and will see you responsible for the hygiene operations within the business.

Job Description
Carrying out hygiene operations including managing the cleaning team, clean down management and following cleaning construction cards.
Occasional requirement to take swab samples to check cleanliness.
Ensuring product Food Safety, product integrity, product quality is maintained, and new legislation and codes of practice are implemented.
Ensure compliance to relevant procedures, accurate completion of relevant documents- any deviation must be reported to Technical Department. Standards include HACCP, CCP/LCP
The general adherence of working procedures by all staff, and the communication of work instruction to all staff.
Research ways to increase profitability and lower risk.
Liaising with supervisors and team leaders to monitor any quality issues to prevent standards being compromised.
Creating resolutions to any issues that may occur in the factory and implementing this

Essential Experience/Skills/Qualifications
Previous experience working within the food manufacturing industry
Experience supervising or leading a team within the hygiene department
