Our client in the Wednesbury area is looking for a Supply Chain Planner / Supply Demand Planner to join their fun and vibrant team due to continued business growth!

Role & Responsibilities
* Analyse and monitor the sales forecasts at customer and product level.
* Identify inconsistencies in actual demand against planned demand and update the forecasts to mitigate shortages and overstocks.
* Monitor stock inventory and place purchase orders with suppliers to maintain required stock levels.
* Liaise with suppliers, logistics and shipping agents to ensure purchase orders are delivered on schedule.
* Support Warehouse and Sales teams in delivering 100% order fulfilment.
* Should overstock occur, liaise with the Sales team to develop a sales plan.
* Provide regular feedback to Sales, Procurement, and Inventory teams on stock shortages and excess stock.
* Manage day-to-day communication with the stock control team.
Required Skills & Experience
* Minimum 3 years Supply & Demand experience, including forecasting and supplier scheduling.
* Sales & Operations planning experience.
* Proficient with MS Excel; VLookups & Pivot tables.
* Problem solving skills with an ability to provide solutions to management.
* Ability to work independently in a fast-moving environment.
