Sous Chef Opportunity
We are seeking an experienced Sous Chef to join our team at a reputable restaurant and brasserie in Maidstone, Kent.
Key Responsibilities:
* Assist the Head Chef in managing the kitchen and ensuring high-quality food production.
* Oversee the preparation and presentation of dishes, maintaining consistency and presentation standards.
* Lead a team of chefs, providing guidance and support to ensure seamless kitchen operations.
* Contribute to menu development, ensuring dishes are creative, seasonal, and appealing to customers.
* Collaborate with the restaurant team to deliver exceptional customer service and maintain a positive dining experience.
Requirements:
* Proven experience as a Sous Chef in a high-volume brasserie, restaurant, or gastro pub environment.
* Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and guide a team.
* Excellent culinary skills, with a focus on creativity, presentation, and consistency.
* Ability to work under pressure, managing multiple tasks and priorities in a fast-paced kitchen environment.
