Job Description
This position reports to the Regional Ground Network Services Manager, Ground Network Operations Manager, Ground Network Supervisors and Lead Agents. The Ground Network Services (GNS) agents support the execution of the GNS by managing daily truck operations and managing the smooth flow of GNS shipments through the network. Various work schedules may be required for this position, including late afternoon and evening, nights, weekends and holidays.
This position is for night and day shift 18:00 - 06:00 / 06:00 – 18:00 4 on 4 off pattern.
Qualifications
Duties and Responsibilities
1. Ensure smooth and timely freight process flow
2. Ensure accurate and timely data entry into our operational system
3. Optimizing route planning and truck utilization
4. Interact with our customers (internal and external) in arranging their shipments, meeting customer service standards.
5. Contribute to and maintain a good relationship with suppliers
6. Meet compliance at all times to regulations internal and external in accordance with government regulations.
7. Understand department process flow, and looking for best practices to improve operational efficiency and productivity
8. Ensure all standard operating procedures in place
9. Meet KPI standards in accordance with the Company’s procedures
10. Timely communication
11. Escalation of problems to Management when necessary

Qualifications
Skills:
13. 6 months to 1 year of related experience and/or training: or equivalent combination of education and experience prefered
14. Effective interpersonal skills, including proven abilities to listen, comprehend, effectively communicate clearly and concisely to obtain positive results.
15. Pro-active, strong organizational skills
16. Basic computer skills (Excel, Word, Powerpoint)
17. Fluent in English
