Quality Inspection Engineer, Salisbury, £35,000pa
Purpose
As aQuality Inspection Engineerfor this well established, niche engineering company, you will play a crucial part in running the company'sQualitydepartment ensuring quality of components and assemblies through the manufacturing process. This role will be a mixture of hands on inspection, dealing with customers and suppliers, and completing reports and paperwork.

Responsibilities
As aQuality Inspection Engineeryour responsibilities will include:
Overseeing and running the Quality department, being the first point of contact for staff
Controlling the inspection of all parts received from suppliers and all parts produced internally
Using a variety of manual and computer aided inspection equipment such as verniers, micrometres, CMM machines etc
Investigating, reporting and correcting non-conformance issues
Compiling detailed inspection reports for new products, new suppliers or parts that have been manufactured/modified/repaired
Working closely with the R&D department regarding new product development
Liaising with customers and suppliers where necessary
As aQuality Inspection Engineer, you'll have:
PreviousQuality InspectionandEngineeringexperience within manufacturing
Both hands on experience with inspection as well as the reporting and paperwork side of quality
Good communication skills to liaise with various departments within the business
Competency working with computers
A consistent employment history with references available
