We are Active Care Group, the leading provider of complex care. Within the Care in the Home division, we support clients with spinal cord injury, neurological and acquire brain injury to live independently in their own homes.
We'd like you to join us as a Support Worker in Hawarden.
What you'll be doing:
1. This role is to support our male client with a spinal cord injury within his own home.
2. You will support the the client in their home with personal care (including washing, dressing and toileting), moving and handling, domestic tasks and social activities.
When you'll be working:
3. 3 to 4 shifts per week
4. 12 hour days or waking nights
5. Regular consistent work with set rolling rotas
6. Zero hours contracts
7. You must commit to working regularly each month to enable continuity of care for our clients
What you'll have:
8. NVQ level 2 or 3 in Health and Social Care
9. Kind and caring nature
10. Flexibility & reliability – continuity of care is imperative for our clients
11. Good communication skills
12. Successful candidates will be required to undergo an Enhanced DBS
What to look forward to:
13. up to £14 per hour, dependant on NVQ HSC qualification on a zero hour contract
