Job Description: We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic full-time Science Teacher to join a seoncdary school in Stroud. This role involves teaching Science at KS3 and KS4, with a particular emphasis on Biology. The successful candidate will take on full teaching responsibilities, including lesson planning, preparation, and marking.
Responsibilities:
Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging and effective Science lessons to KS3 and KS4 students.
Develop lesson plans that meet the curriculum requirements and cater to diverse learning needs.
Assess, record, and report on the progress and attainment of students.
Provide constructive feedback to support student learning and development.
Maintain a positive and inclusive classroom environment.
Collaborate with colleagues to share best practices and resources.
Participate in school events and extracurricular activities related to the Science department.Requirements:
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
Experience teaching Science, particularly Biology, at the secondary school level.
Strong understanding of the curriculum and assessment methods for Science.
Excellent communication and organisational skills.
Ability to inspire and motivate students.
