The Best Connection is looking to recruit for one our busy warehousing business based in Scunthorpe.
An opportunity has arisen for a Shift Administrator to join the existing team.
The successful candidate will have excellent communication skills and highly experienced using the Microsoft Package.
This will be a 2 X Shift rotating pattern, consisting of one week doing 06:00 - 14:00 and the next week 14:00 - 22:00.
The purpose of the role is to ensure that the administrative processes are efficiently dealt with.
Main duties will include but are not limited to:
1. Ensure that the administrative processes required to fulfil customer orders is organized and carried out efficiently.
2. Check that all documentation / information received from customer is clear and precise.
3. Raise sales orders and pass onto production planning for allocation and planning.
4. Monitors the progress of orders being processed and updates the customer.
5. Highlight to Line Manager any stock problems that arise.
6. Ensure customer’s profiles and parts databases are up to date on the computer system at all times.
7. Ensure customer schedules are accurately maintained.
This is an ongoing position that may lead to a full-time position for the right candidate.
