Interim Retail Operations Manager - Healthcare environment
Operations/service improvement consultant for retail catering.
Experience required of Highstreet restaurant/café operations improvement from better service to process improvement.
Key role is to assist the Head of Catering to implement a wide range of improvements and return the operation to profitability
List of task/objectives as follows:
1. Takeover management and implementation of the current Retail Catering improvement plan.
2. Revise the improvement plan in conjunction with the Account Director/Head of Catering
3. Investigate operation of: Restaurant lunch-times look to move to a reduced-service to reduce labour costs
4. Optimise breakfast service, which has moved to a reduced service operation and needs improving from a profitability and service perspective
5. Conduct product sales/margin analysis to optimise revenue/margin in the restaurant and cafes.
6. Investigate food ordering process and adequate provision of food /drink at each outlet, especially to address peak customer periods.
7. Look at customer service and make recommendations to improve
8. Implement agreed customer service improvements from point 6.
9. Review the new 'Grab and Go' self-checkout area in the main restaurant, looking at theft, customer service and profitability.
10. Make recommendations from point 8 and add to the improvement plan i.a.w. point 2.
