The successful Sales Manager is expected to be a key member of the UK Sales Team, with the aim of securing profitable sales and increased market share world-wide.
1. Own the sales process from initial enquiry to purchase order.
2. Attend key customer visits to build and develop strong business relationships
3. Represent Trade Shows, exhibitions and seminars to promote the group
To be successful in this role of Sales Manager we would love to speak to anyone who has experience of:
4. Actively seek market intelligence to develop sales opportunities.
5. Travel internationally to develop and maintain client, agent and supplier relationships.
6. Develop new market areas and introduce new agents.
7. Look for opportunities for After Market spares and service offerings.
8. Work with the Estimating team to expand the supply chain by identifying or visiting new suppliers to offer lower cost sourcing options.
9. Work with the Process department to find new avenues for diversification.
10. Lead and motivate team members.
11. Active reporting of the sales pipeline, ensuring sales figures and enquiry records are up to date and in the CRM.
12. Attend Sales and Strategy meetings
