What we’re looking for
We are seeking an experienced In-Service Product Manager to lead and manage the In-Service portfolio from inception to end-of-life, ensuring it delivers measurable business value for Maritime clients and aligns with Lloyd’s Register’s strategy.
The ideal candidate will translate our business objectives into a compelling product strategy, collaborating with cross-functional teams (product owners, marketing, client experience, sales, service delivery, etc.) to develop and maintain products that support the FIT2GROW strategic pillars and provide significant value to our clients.
This role is responsible for defining the product vision, prioritizing product enhancements and features, and owning the product roadmap and playbooks throughout the product lifecycle. You will be accountable for the business success of the portfolio.
What we offer you

* The opportunity to work for an organization that has a strong sense of purpose, is values driven and helps colleagues to develop professionally and personally through our range of people development programmes.
The role
* Translate Lloyd’s Register’s business strategy into a compelling product vision that creates market value and positions LR as a thought leader in the In-Service sector.
* Oversee the global delivery of In-Service solutions by owning the product roadmap, prioritizing functionality, collaborating with stakeholders, and providing the Product Playbook to Service Delivery and Commercial teams.
* Lead the high-level In-Service roadmap, determining the prioritization of technical and functional enhancements to meet client requests and align with LR’s New Construction strategic vision.
* Serve as a key thought leader in In-Service, working with product managers and subject matter experts (SMEs) to ensure consistency across offerings.
* Support the achievement of business outcomes by delivering prioritized functionality to clients and markets, collaborating with product teams to meet agreed KPIs.
* Act as an advocate for LR in the In-Service community, providing thought leadership to position LR as a forward-thinking partner.
* Utilize primary and secondary market research, supported by the market insight team, to inform product decisions. Conduct direct client research following a design-driven product management approach and validate findings with analysts and data sources.
* Identify and develop new markets or use cases based on market analysis, technology trends, and client feedback.
* Develop an organic product strategy, analyzing client and market opportunities, and setting practical priorities for the product team.
* Capture high-level client requirements and ensure they are triaged and converted into detailed user stories by the Product Owner and team.
* Leverage SMEs to ensure client needs are accurately mapped and that In-Service expertise supports teams like QA.
* Engage directly with clients to gather feedback, influence product reputation, and act as the escalation point for post-sale client issues, driving critical project execution for key clients.
* Collaborate with SMEs, Product Owners, and Business Analysts to determine the best course of action for the build, implementation, and delivery of In-Service portfolio activities.
* Provide product marketing and external communications teams with insights on key product differentiators and messaging.
