We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Deputy Manager to join our dynamic team in the hospitality sector. Responsibilities
1. Assist the Manager in overseeing daily operations within the hotel or restaurant environment.
2. Supervise and train kitchen staff, ensuring adherence to food production and safety protocols.
3. Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient food preparation and service.
4. Maintain high standards of cleanliness and organisation in the kitchen area.
5. Help manage inventory levels, placing orders for supplies as necessary.
6. Address customer inquiries and concerns promptly to ensure satisfaction.
7. Support the development of menus and assist in food presentation strategies.
8. Foster a positive team environment through effective communication and team management.
Skills
1. Proven experience in hospitality or hotel management is essential.
2. Strong knowledge of food production, preparation, and safety practices.
3. Excellent team management skills with the ability to motivate and lead staff effectively.
4. Experience working in a kitchen or restaurant setting is highly desirable.
5. Strong organisational skills with attention to detail.
6. Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
7. Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written.
8. A proactive approach to problem-solving and decision-making.
