Role Overview:
We are delighted to be supporting our retained client with this exciting role of a strategic and dynamic Chief Human Resources Officer (CHRO) to lead and shape their HR function across the EMEA region. This role is integral to enabling the company's continued global expansion and success through a people-centric, innovative, and strategic approach to HR. As a proven HR leader, you will possess the skills and experience to manage diverse, complex environments during rapid change with a successful track record of reporting at board level.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Board Reporting and Stakeholder Management: Serve as a key advisor to the board, providing insights on HR metrics, people strategy, and organisational development. Collaborate closely with senior leadership to drive strategic decisions and align HR initiatives with business objectives.
2. Strategic HR Leadership: Develop and implement an innovative HR strategy that aligns with the company’s goals, promoting a high-performance culture and fostering employee engagement.
3. EMEA Regional Oversight: Oversee HR operations and initiatives across the EMEA region, ensuring consistency and alignment with global standards while adapting to regional needs.
4. Change Management: Lead HR-driven transformation initiatives, including digital HR solutions, organisational restructuring, and culture-building programmes.
5. Talent Management: Design and execute effective talent acquisition, development, and retention strategies to attract and retain top talent in the region.
6. Employee Relations and Compliance: Ensure compliance with employment laws and regulations within EMEA. Maintain strong employee relations practices that promote a supportive and inclusive work environment.
7. Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI): Champion DEI initiatives to build a diverse and inclusive workplace. Develop policies and programs that support diversity and drive cultural change.
Key Requirements:
1. Experience: Demonstrable HR leadership experience, with significant exposure to EMEA regions and board-level reporting. Proven ability to operate within a complex, matrixed organisation.
2. Strategic Mindset: Strong business acumen with the ability to link HR strategy to business outcomes. Skilled in advising senior leaders and influencing decision-making at the highest levels.
3. Change Leadership: Experienced in leading large-scale change initiatives and managing cultural transformation.
4. Communication Skills: Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to engage and influence stakeholders at all levels.
5. Global Perspective: Broad understanding of cultural diversity within EMEA and the ability to adapt HR practices to regional nuances while ensuring alignment with global objectives.
6. Education: Post-Grad Education preferred.
