Overview
We are seeking a skilled Fitter to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be able to work alone and in a team and be confident in all aspects of work involved in installing bathrooms and kitchens. This role requires a strong understanding of various tools and techniques, as well as the ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment. Responsibilities
1. Interpret and work from plans and technical drawings to assemble components accurately.
2. Fabricate and build structures using hand tools, power tools, and machinery.
3. Perform tiling tasks to a high standard.
4. Conduct plumbing tasks to ensure proper installation of fixtures and fittings.
5. Carry out joinery tasks.
6. Maintain a clean and organised workspace, ensuring all tools are stored correctly after use.
7. Collaborate with team members to meet project deadlines and quality standards.
Skills
1. Proficiency in floor and wall tiling.
2. Strong ability to read and interpret technical drawings.
3. Experience in carpentry, including building and assembling wooden structures.
4. Familiarity with fabrication processes and materials used in construction.
5. Competence in using hand tools and power tools safely and effectively.
6. Knowledge of plumbing systems and installation practices.
7. Basic masonry skills for constructing or repairing structures.
8. Attention to detail with a focus on quality workmanship in all tasks undertaken.
