Your Impact and Responsibilities…
As a Buying Administrator, you will be a vital part of the Buying team, ensuring everything runs smoothly and efficiently. Your role will involve:
* Managing supplier offers, queries, and data with precision.
* Assisting with the creation and maintenance of spreadsheets for product tracking and analysis.
* Handling correspondence from suppliers and internal departments, ensuring timely resolutions to issues.
* Supporting the Buying team in arranging supplier meetings and maintaining accurate supplier data.
* Placing orders for new products and managing stock adjustments as needed.
* Conducting price comparisons and competitor research to help identify market opportunities.
* Providing administrative support, including raising purchase orders and maintaining product sheets.
Skills and Knowledge…
To succeed in this role, you’ll need:
* Strong Excel skills and proficiency with other Microsoft Office tools.
* Excellent organisational and multitasking abilities.
* Good communication and negotiation skills.
* An eye for detail and a proactive approach to solving problems.
* A keen interest in the retail industry and some experience in buying or a related role.
* Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment, managing multiple priorities.
