Change Accountancy and Finance are currently partnered with a successful firm within professional services for the recruitment of a Credit Control Supervisor, to join their Edinburgh team. This newly created role is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Senior Credit Controller to take the next step in their career.
The successful candidate will lead the credit control team and work closely with stakeholders across the business to ensure alignment in objectives, focusing on minimising bad debt while maximising profit.
Your responsibilities will include:
* Supervision of team of credit controllers
* Overseeing a portfolio of accounts, ensuring a timely debt collection while establishing successful partnership with senior stakeholders
* Analysing data and preparing detailed reports on the status of credit and collections, highlighting key metrics and areas of concern
* Manage complex accounts and escalations if required
* Prepare and monitor team KPIs
Requirements for the role:
* Strong credit control experience, specifically in a senior/supervisory position
* Excellent interpersonal skills
* Proficiency in Microsoft Excel; experience with accounting software (e.g., Dynamics, SAP, or similar) is highly desirable.
* Strong communication skills, with the ability to deal with customers and colleagues professionally.
* Good organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
Salary offered for the role between £30'000 and £35'000, DOE plus excellent benefits and hybrid working week.
