Are you a Quality Inspector looking for an exciting new opportunity? We are currently recruiting on behalf of a market-leading manufacturer based in Brighouse, West Yorkshire. This Permanent position is working Monday - Friday days and is paying £24,500 - £25,500 per annum, along with benefits such as 31 days holiday, 5% matched pension and much more.
You will be working for a family-run business who have been established for over 30 years, producing high-quality products, distributed worldwide. This is a fantastic time to join their business as they are currently undergoing a dramatic period of growth and are upsizing into a brand new state-of-the-art facility after outgrowing their current premises. You will be working as part of a fast-paced and dynamic department where no day will be the same, with the opportunity to develop your existing skills and undergo specialist training.
Roles and Responsibilities as a Quality Inspector:
1. Conducting internal audits and supporting with external audits.
2. Finished product quality checks, testing, goods in and out checks.
3. Taking samples for the sales team to send to new and prospective clients.
4. Hygiene, traceability and allergen management.
5. Recording and monitoring documentation and labelling.
Minimum Requirements:
I would love to see CVs from individuals who have:
1. A minimum of 3 years' experience as a Quality Inspector, QA Technician, Quality Assurance Coordinator or similar role within a Food or Drink manufacturing environment (essential).
2. A HACCP Level 2 qualification as a minimum (essential).
3. Internal auditing experience (preferred).
4. Good Microsoft skills and strong written and verbal communication (essential).
