Senior Estate Manager Role
Care Concern Group is seeking a highly skilled Estate Manager to support and advise on property maintenance, compliance, and development across Scotland.
This is a senior opportunity to join a market-leading, family-owned care group operating over 80 homes across the UK.
Key Responsibilities:
* Lead refurbishment projects up to a value of £2M, including specification development, consultant appointments, and contract administration.
* Carry out pre-acquisition and dilapidation surveys, as well as annual condition surveys of the existing estate.
* Respond to major building defects and oversee reactive maintenance, ensuring health and safety standards are met.
* Prepare and manage 5-year planned preventative maintenance budgets for key assets.
* Manage service contracts, ensuring compliance certifications are current and meet required standards.
As a Senior Estate Manager, you will be responsible for the overall management of the estate, ensuring that properties are well-maintained and that all compliance requirements are met.
Requirements:
* Professional accreditation, such as MRICS Building Surveyor or MCIOB, or relevant experience and expertise.
* Strong understanding of risk management practices related to fire safety, legionella, and asbestos.
* Familiarity with commercial M&E system installations.
* Experience in the care home sector is desirable.
