Your newpany and role as a Call Handler
Hays are currently recruiting experienced call handlers for work with a large healthcare provider within the Yorkshire area. This provider is based in Wakefield, and is looking for experienced call handlers to receive full training to answer 111 calls from members of the public, take their details down and help with basic medical queries and issues, with the assistance of the 111 system.
What you'll need to succeed as a Call Handler
1. Experience in a busy call centre or customer service environment- years+ desirable
2. Flexible, 24/7 availability to work a flexible 24–30 hours a week rota
3. Due to flexible working and late finishes, ability to drive is desirable.
4. Minimum of three GCSEs at grade 4 (grade C) or above, equivalent including English
5. Ability to use aputer and other related technology
6. Customer service skills
7. Ability to deal with confidential/sensitive and distressing information.
