Job summary
An exciting opportunity has emerged for a for a highly motivated, enthusiastic, organised and friendly ward clerk to join the Neonatal Team at Homerton Healthcare. This is a key role as you will be the first point of contact greeting families and visitors in the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit.
If successful, you will be required to provide clerical and administrative duties to support the admin, nursing, and medical team.
Main duties of the job
This is a non-clinical role and does not involve working with babies.
Day to day responsibilities include but are not limited to answering the telephone, admitting, and discharging babies on the hospital computer systems, ensuring all patient demographic information is accurate and up to date, filing patient notes as well as general clerical duties.
