Job Summary:
The Warehouse Administrator will support the shipping and logistics operations of our client’s paper manufacturing company. This role involves coordinating shipments, liaising with the warehouse, maintaining accurate records, preparing shipping documents, and ensuring timely delivery of products. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, organized, and capable of working in a fast-paced environment.
Shift:
Monday to Friday - 14.00 - 22.00.
Key Responsibilities:
Shipment Coordination:
* Assist in planning and scheduling shipments to ensure timely delivery.
* Coordinate with the production, warehouse, and sales teams to manage shipment
* priorities and schedules.
Documentation:
* Prepare and process shipping documents, including bills of lading, packing lists, invoices, and shipping labels.
* Ensure all documentation complies with company policies and regulatory requirements.
Communication:
* Act as a liaison between the shipping department and carriers, customers, and other
* internal departments.
* Communicate shipping schedules and updates to relevant parties.
* Record Keeping:
* Maintain accurate records of all shipments, including tracking information, delivery
* dates, and shipping costs.
* Update shipping logs and databases regularly.
Inventory Management:
* Assist in monitoring and managing inventory levels to ensure adequate supply for
* orders.
* Coordinate with the warehouse team to organize and maintain inventory storage.
Requirements:
* Attention to detail and accuracy
* Good communication/telephone skills
* Ability to work in an organised manner
* Good IT skills / computer literate
* Ability to work within a team to solve problems and issues
* Previous experience of working in a transport/shipping/warehouse department is
* desirable.
* Full UK Driver's Licence
