Millennium Gloucester Hotel London Kensington is seeking an Electricianwho will be responsible for for all electrical systems in the hotels and also to be involved with the checking and in servicing of the planned, preventative maintenance of all systems.
The ElectricianKey Responsibilities will include:
* To carry out planned and preventative maintenance to plant, control panels and distribution boards and guests bedrooms.
* To administer the portable appliance testing throughout the complex and ensure all test results are recorded and hard copies kept, when requested.
* To assist or carry out any electrical testing the plant engineer requires.
* To carry out regular testing of the generator as laid down in the service manual.
* To ensure that all electrical distribution boards circuits are correctly labelled amendments signed by the originator. All systems to be kept clean.
* To be aware of any scheduled works to be carried out by any contractors. To check the standard of workmanship and liase with the Shift Engineer, Maintenance Manager or Chief Engineer in regards to authorisation of timesheets etc.
The Experience & Qualifications for Electrician:
* Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
* Excellent written/verbal communication and the ability to communicate across all levels of an organization.
* At least 3-5 years of practical experience in electrical installation and maintenance is typically required.
* Confident individual who is adept in prioritising and managing multiple projects and tasks simultaneously.
* Ability to take the initiative and deal with unexpected situations and last minute changes.
* Ability to deal with sensitive and confidential data.
The successful candidate will be:
* Enthusiastic, self-motivated, proactive, resourceful with excellent attention to detail
* Demonstrate excellent presentation, negotiation and communication skills with the customers and other hotel departments
* Team worker
* Ability to work under pressure in a fast pace environment
