Elevation Recruitment Group are currently partnered with a well-known business in the Yorkshire Dales who are looking for a Quality & Compliance Technician to join the business. Reporting into QHSE Manager, this role is designed to bridge the areas of Food Safety, Quality, and Health & Safety. The position supports internal auditing and regulatory compliance across these domains, ensuring that the company adheres to industry standards and operational procedures.

Duties & Responsibilities:
* Conduct internal audits (procedure, health & safety, GMP, traceability, and more).
* Create and maintain product specifications and records.
* Complete audit reports, track actions, and ensure timely resolution of non-conformances.
* Provide on-site support to production teams to ensure compliance with food safety, quality, and health & safety procedures.
* Conduct risk assessments and ensure health & safety compliance across the brewery.
* Train staff on food safety and quality requirements.
* Manage lab sample preparation, monitor testing schedules, and log results.
* Ensure compliance with product labelling regulations.
* Oversee calibration schedules and ensure the maintenance of brewing equipment.
I'm keen to speak to candidates with the following skillset:
* Experience working with a Quality Management System (e.g., BRCGS, SALSA, ISO 9001).
* Strong experience in auditing, including documenting non-conformances and following up on corrective actions.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word (using pivot tables, conditional formatting, etc.).
* Ability to communicate clearly, especially when addressing non-conformance issues with staff.
* Strong attention to detail, with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks effectively.
* Graduated within a discipline relevant to the food industry
