Spire Tunbridge Wells are recruiting for an Outpatients Bookings Team Leader to join their administration team on a full-time, permanent basis.

Duties and responsibilities
1. To be responsible for the overall management and day-to-day supervision of the Outpatients Bookings Team
2. Provide and maintain an efficient bookings system for all in-patients and day cases using a computerised system (SAP)
3. Respond to enquiries from patients, members of the public and consultants in a timely, courteous and efficient manner either by face to face meetings, telephone or letter. Ensure an accurate record of the communication is held
4. Maintain departmental electronic and manual filing systems accurately
5. Practice and maintain a high standard of confidentiality at all times and exercise absolute discretion in the use of all patient/consultant/staff information
6. Provide and receive patient information, ensuring that all patient information is provided, received and recorded in accordance with the Data Protection Act and Spire policies.
7. Undertake any training or development as required to acquire skills and knowledge to undertake role competently
Who we're looking for
8. Track record of successful delivery in an office and / or customer service environment
9. Understanding of medical terminology
10. Knowledge of the healthcare market
11. Working knowledge of SAP or a similar patient booking system
12. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
13. Ability to build and maintain effective working relationships, both internally and externally
Working Hours: 37.5 hours per week. Monday - Friday 9-5
Contract Type: Permanent
