The UK brands consist of Kraus, Homelux, Vitrex, Plasplugs, XPS, Roberts and Portanails within the DIY and professional tiling markets.
About The Role:
The role consists of managing a portfolio of National Accounts within the Retail Sector. You will be working as part of an engaging, dynamic and energetic team.
As a National Account Manager your main duties and responsibilities will include;
• Managing existing customer accounts and relationships
• Actively increasing our portfolio by demonstrating a strong track record in both identifying new business opportunities and managing the process from initial contact to enabling a successful trading relationship.
• Develop and implement JBP to align business expectations and maintain growth.
• Drive new business, product listings and increase turnover within existing accounts.
• Identify opportunities and make recommendations that support the overall commercial strategy of the business.
• Support annual budget preparations as part of a budgeting process.
The Person:
• Proven success working with National retailers in the DIY/Trade Market. It would be advantageous to have experience within other market sectors
• A minimum of 3 years background in Key/National Account management ideally within the DIY/Hand Tools/Flooring or Bathroom categories.
• Experience of pitching both products and marketing options to customers.
• Strong negotiation and communication skills.
• Proven track record in account development and successful JBP strategy.
• Strong analytic sales skills.
• Experience of managing customer accounts at a senior level and of significant value
• The drive and tenacity to achieve quality performance and to see a job or project through to completion to the highest standard.
• The ability to persuade others to a course of action or viewpoint whilst respecting their concerns, motives or feelings.
• The role is part office and part field based and will require travel across the UK, as essential to the day to day demands of the role. The successful applicant will need to be within commutable distance to the Burton Upon Trent Offices.
