We are looking for experienced and committed Healthcare Assistants with an interactive approach, who are eager to enhance their skills in the complex care sector. While prior complex care experience is beneficial, it is not a requirement as full bespoke clinical training will be provided.
You will need to be passionate about delivering the highest quality care to our service users, building positive relationships with them and their family whilst empowering them to live as independently as possible within the comfort of their own home.
Meet our service user
Our service user is a sociable lady in her 50’s who lives with her family in Runcorn. She requires support with her complex care needs on a 2:1 basis throughout the day and night.
She is a very friendly and welcoming lady who has a busy family life and enjoys being out in the local community. She loves going out to garden centres, shopping and trips to the cinema.
Throughout the day you will be required to assist her to enjoy her hobbies, interests and access her favourite social activities. You will provide support with her personal care, moving and handling as well as meeting her clinical care needs.
Throughout the night you will provide support with her personal care needs, repositioning, clinical observations and attending to her clinical needs when required. You will provide a safe and calming environment to promote a restful night’s sleep.
Our service user has specifically requested for female staff to work on their team.
To be successful in this role it is essential that you have experience with the following:
1. 3 months' previous care experience
2. Medication Administration
3. Personal Care
4. Moving and Handling
Experience working with the following clinical needs is desirable, however is not essential to be considered for this role:
5. Motor Neurones Awareness
6. Nebulisers
7. Ventilation
8. Cough Assist
Shifts Available
9. Full Time Nights
10. Nights: 7pm – 7am
11. 2-3 Shifts Per Week
Take a look at our pay rates
Weekdays: £13.50 per hour (£162 approx. per 12 hour shift)
Weeknights: £14.00 per hour (£168 approx. per 12 hour shift)
Saturday: £14.50 per hour (£174 approx. per 12 hour shift)
Sunday: £15.00 per hour (£180 approx. per 12 hour shift)
Bank Holiday: £17.50 per hour (£210 approx. per 12 hour shift)
